A medium-term finish in a premium 3-year seasoned 1st fill Oloroso Hogshead sourced direct from Spain. We are thrilled by the quality of this wood, which has enhanced the weight and intense fruit of the Glenglassaugh spirit.
Tasting Notes - Fruit and Spice
Colour: Warm copper.
Nose: Spanish cedar, star anise and bramble jam.
Palate: Ceylon cinnamon, sticky raisin and glazed pastry.
Finish: A baker’s pantry of brown sugar, currants and baking spices.
