This cognac was first aged in new oak barrels, then in old barrels. With a dark amber color, this cognac demonstrates an intense and complex nose. Scents of sweet dried fruits, cedar, tobacco, chocolate, and toasted coffee. A very intense sensation, the alcohol is well-balanced with several dried fruits and walnut flavors. A smooth bouquet with a distinctive hint of rancio Charentais (regional idiom for subtle aromas). A very long, spicy, elegant, and complex cognac.
